Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept Mastercard, Visa, Switch, Solo, American Express, Maestro and Electron. Your credit card statement will show "XXXXXX". We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Back ordered items are not charged until they are shipped.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Delivery Schedule
Delivery is £3.99 within mainland UK (excludes certain Highlands of Scotland post codes. For those area's please contact us for shipping costs or place your order and customer services will contact you).

Orders should be with you no more than five working days from despatch. Please refer to "Availability" opposite. Please note, if goods are returned to us by Royal Mail as uncollected we will refund the total amount charged if required less £5 (administration charge). If you require the goods posting out again, we are happy to do so but a second delivery charge will be incurred.

For Next Day delivery orders must be placed before 2pm. Any order after this time will be dispatched the next working day. For Next Day delivery there will be an extra £3.50 postage charge.

Availability
Most goods are delivered directly from our stocks. However there may be occasions when items are out of stock. Under such circumstances we will notify you as soon as possible with an anticipated delivery date and give you the option of placing the item on "back order" or cancelling it and obtaining a refund. Contact is made via email so please ensure you provide your correct address when ordering.

Liability
Gifts 2 U entire obligation in the event of defective goods, damaged goods, failure to deliver goods, incorrect quantities or incorrect goods shipped will be to either, (a)Offer a full refund to the value of the goods or (b)Offer replacement for any goods of incorrect quantity, defective or damaged. Under no circumstances will Gifts 2 U be liable for any consequential, direct or indirect loss arising from any such occurrence stated above. The total liability of Gifts 2 U in any event shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the goods.

Governing Law
In purchasing goods on this site you acknowledge that the contract between Gifts 2 U and yourself is governed by and interpreted by English Law and that English courts will have jurisdiction in resolving any disputes.

Please note that in an effort to improve products all manufacturers continually change or vary slightly the colours of materials, paints, plastic coatings etc. As such the images and descriptions on this site are given as a guide and you may find some products differing slightly to the pictures shown. Please note these terms & conditions may be changed at any time without notice. Please refer to this page for updates.

Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Tax Charges
For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is added. All other orders are VAT free.

For your security and peace of mind this site uses integrated, Java based 128-bit encryption to keep your information secure. You can purchase online with the confidence and knowledge that our credit card security system is high street bank approved.

Guarantee
All goods are guaranteed against electrical/mechanical failure and substandard workmanship for a period of twelve months from the date of purchase excluding consumable items, e.g. bulbs, batteries and what is considered to be fair wear and tear. We would respectfully request that you always retain your receipt or despatch note as proof of purchase for any warranty claim. We regret that no warranty claim can be considered without proof of purchase.

Returns Policy
Under the UK Distance Selling Regulations 2000 you have the right to change your mind and return unwanted goods to us to arrive within seven days, for a full refund to the value of the goods. Please note shipping costs are not refunded. Some items are not covered by this returns policy due to health/hygiene reasons. Goods must be in their original packaging and unused. Faulty goods can be returned for repair (or exchanged at the manufacturers discretion) within the 12 months guarantee period. Please read 'Guarantee' details above. Please note you must always supply proof of purchase. As per normal high street shopping conditions in all events the cost to return the goods is the responsibility of the customer.
